For the Basement + Ground + 6 storey commercial complex "The LOOP" at Tezpur, the structure consists of two L-shaped blocks separated by an expansion joint to address plan irregularity and allow independent structural response. The large column spans required careful design of heavily loaded columns to ensure adequate strength and serviceability. Analysis was performed using STAAD.Pro, considering both equivalent static and response spectrum methods as per seismic design provisions. Since the project falls in Seismic Zone V, all relevant seismic parameters were incorporated to ensure safety under severe ground motion. The foundation system adopted was a piled raft, designed in STAAD Foundation Advanced, where the raft was modeled as a finite element with elastic subgrade interaction. The project involved multiple design iterations and optimization, providing valuable practical insight into efficient and safe structural design. This project is a collaborative effort with Office of Emergent Practices (Architectural Partner).

For the Don Bosco School project at Lumding, the structure consisted of two blocks arranged in an L-shape, creating plan irregularity. To address this, an expansion joint was provided between the blocks, allowing them to act independently and reducing the effects of differential movement and seismic forces. Each block was modeled and analyzed separately in STAAD.Pro, which helped avoid torsional effects and stress concentration at the junction. Gravity and seismic loads were applied individually to ensure compliance with design codes. This approach enabled efficient member design and detailing while improving overall structural safety and performance.

Rajagiri Christ Academy: During the structural design of the G+2 school building for Rajagiri Christ Academy, the complete structural system was developed and analyzed using STAAD.Pro in accordance with relevant design codes and serviceability requirements. The building was modeled as a reinforced concrete frame, considering dead, live and seismic loads to ensure safety and efficiency. Careful attention was given to the integration of differential floor levels to meet planning requirements. Member sizes and reinforcement were optimized based on analysis results for effective structural performance. The foundation system was designed using RCDC, with due consideration of soil parameters, load transfer, bearing capacity, and settlement

The G+4 storey hotel project at Dirang involved the design of a reinforced concrete structure with a shear wall system provided at the lift shaft. Seismic loads were a key consideration in the analysis and design, given the region’s seismic sensitivity. Multiple slab cut-outs were incorporated at various locations to accommodate plumbing ducts, requiring careful detailing to maintain structural integrity. The project also included the design of retaining walls at several points across the site, addressing level differences and ensuring overall stability. This work reflects a balanced approach to structural safety, functional requirements, and practical site conditions. This Project is a collaborative effort with Olim Design Studios as our architectural partner.

The G+2 residential villa at Amsing was designed with a pile foundation system due to inadequate subsoil conditions, where conventional shallow footings were not feasible in meeting bearing capacity and settlement requirements. The structural design followed earthquake-resistant design, with careful consideration of load paths, ductility, and overall stability. An RCC lift shaft was incorporated, contributing to improved lateral load resistance. A key architectural feature of the villa was a large circular staircase, which required detailed structural analysis and precise reinforcement detailing to ensure both safety and constructability. The project involved coordinating multiple critical aspects, from foundation selection to superstructure behavior, offering valuable experience in addressing practical geotechnical constraints alongside complex structural requirements.

A Basement + Ground + 2 storey clinic was designed with a distinct structural approach for the basement level compared to conventional systems. The foundation comprised isolated footings, while RCC peripheral walls were provided to retain surrounding soil and control moisture ingress. Special attention was given to the concrete flooring laid throughout the basement to act as a protective layer and to provide a rigid, durable surface suitable for vehicle parking and dampness prevention. The design reflects a practical balance between structural requirements, site conditions, and functional use of the basement space. This project was a joint effort between our team and Studio_Bithika (Architectural Partner)

The Subansiri Project at Daporijo involved a range of structural design components, including retaining walls, a large parking slab, and a Basement + Ground + 1 storey hotel building. The parking slab was designed considering vehicle loads along with seismic effects to ensure safety and serviceability. The hotel structure was analyzed with due consideration of seismic forces, given the region’s sensitivity. The basement level was supported on a combination of isolated and combined footings, along with concrete flooring to provide a stable and usable surface. The retaining wall was to resist earth pressure and control moisture ingress, ensuring durability and functional performance of the structure. This project is a collaborative effort with Studio Dream Space(Architectural Partner).

Collaborating with an architect group, our strategic structural analysis resolved the challenge of seamlessly integrating a new G+1 building with an existing Assam-type house. Our expertise ensured a harmonious connection, addressing the complex junction point between the two structures for a cohesive architectural blend.

Revitalizing with precision, we demolished an old structure, strategically reimagining the space with Vastu principles. Extensive planning included soil testing, 3 floors, and a basement floor plan, coupled with rigorous structural analysis. Visualizing the outcome, we crafted 3D exteriors and interiors, concluding with a meticulously prepared project estimation.

Strategically enhancing leisure options, we've planned a recreational space adjacent to Kolkata's sea port. Our design integrates thoughtful features, providing not just leisure but also addressing practicalities with the inclusion of strategically planned parking facilities.
